The Power of Praise

“But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.” – Psalm 22:3 (KJV)

Sometimes life throws challenges or “punches” at us. It’s during such times that many people choose to give up. However, that’s not the way to go. God in His infinite wisdom designated praise as one of the weapons for perpetual victory over circumstances.

The verse above says the Lord inhabits the praises of His people. The word “inhabits” from the original Hebrew rendering means “to be enthroned” or “to sit down as a judge”. Therefore, when you praise the Lord (in bad situations) you cause Him to be enthroned and act as a judge— He passes a verdict on your situations and to your enemies.

Therefore, when something unpleasant is happening in your life don’t worry; don’t be upset, and don’t cry. Just praise Him. Laugh your way through life, sing and dance in honor of His mightiness and He’ll surely come as a judge to vindicate you and condemn your enemies.

I operate in the wisdom of God. I’ll neither freak out nor be intimidated if unpleasant situations come my way. I’ll praise Him always, no matter what. This is the secret to my victory. Glory to God!
