He Always Lifts up the Standard!

"So [as the result of the Messiah's intervention] they shall [reverently] fear the name of the Lord from the west, and His glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him and put him to flight [for He will come like a rushing stream which the breath of the Lord drives]." - Isaiah 59:19 AMPC

God has a clear design for your life, a sacred standard that outlines His best for you. Yet, the enemy relentlessly tries to sabotage this plan, tempting you to stray from God's will. Fear not! For you have a powerful support system: the Holy Spirit and the heavenly hosts are always ready to assist you.

Maybe you're feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, and discouraged, maybe even like a failure. But I want you to remember that you haven't exhausted all options yet. Hold on to this truth: when the enemy attacks, the Holy Spirit will rise up and defend you. Face life's challenges with confidence, knowing that you have a powerful ally who will raise a standard against every obstacle and adversary.

As you head into this week, facing the same challenges - that job, school, business, or problem - remember to approach them with a newfound determination. Pray and declare, 'I'm coming at this again, but this time with a new standard, a higher standard of the Holy Ghost. I will emerge excellent and victorious in Jesus name!’

PRAYER:

Father, thank You for Your ever-present help. Thank You because nothing catches You by surprise, and that You already equipped me with tools for victory in everything I do. Holy Ghost, lift up a standard against everything that is against me. In Jesus name, amen.

The God You Know

"And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits." - Daniel 11:32 (KJV)

You go far in life based on the God you know. The problem has never been God, He remains omnipotent. The issue has always been what you know about Him. For instance, do you know Him as a healer? Do you know Him as a provider? If you do not, you will not walk in His healing or provision.

I implore you today, find God for yourself and believe Him. Pay no attention to reasoning because that is how the devil gets you not to believe. God will do the thing that you have been asking of Him for. He is still working miracles today. Believe and do not lose sight of Him.

PRAYER:

Father, I believe. I know you are still working miracles. The blood of your Son Jesus Christ is still speaking on my behalf. I believe you and I will never lose our faith since He is still doing the impossible. In Jesus name. Amen.

Pray Against Things You Don’t Like

"For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:" - Colossians 1:16 (KJV)

Consider the example of Sennacherib, the Assyrian king who proudly boasted about his military conquests and taunted King Hezekiah, but ultimately faced the power of God's intervention and was brought low.

When Hezekiah turned to God and prayed against the King of Assyria (Isaiah 54:16), God responded through prophet Isaiah that He had heard the prayers that he prayed against Sennacherib (verse 20). God went on in verse 35 of the same Chapter to smite Sennacherib and his camp in the middle of night giving Hezekiah the victory.

God knows when you pray against certain things, and such prayers arouse the anger of God. Aren't you tired of certain things? Pray in anger against those things and God with His wrath will come against them and free you.

PRAYER:

Father, I hate failure, I hate poverty, I hate lack, I hate disease and every infirmity. I do not like divorce, I hate depression, I hate anxiety and I hate stress. I hate misery but love joy, I want peace, prosperity and happiness. I don't want anything in my life that doesn't agree with who you are Lord. In Jesus name, Amen.

You are what you see

"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord." - 2 Corinthians 3:18

The reason for Jesus’ hanging on the cross was reconciliation of mankind and God. And He rose from the dead to give us a new life. The death and resurrection was to say, here starts a new life, here is a new set of eyes— eyes that see the mind of God about us. That which you see in God now, is what you become.

You and I are different because of differences in the exposure we have had in God. Where you are now is what you have been seeing in God. However, your mind can grow by what you are exposed to. So, if you want to become more glorious, if you want to grow in every area of your life see what the Scriptures say about you and you will be transformed into it.

PRAYER:

Father, there if life in Your words. There is more to live for, there is more I can do, there is more I have not seen and experienced and I want more. Open the eyes of my heart, Lord, so that I can see and become it. May I never lose the hunger and thirst to always pursue more in You. In Jesus name. Amen.

Set on a Definite Path

In the bible, in Psalms 16 verse 11, the Psalmist laid to us about the path of life, which is to tell us that it is definite. Reading Isaiah 46 verse 10 the bible says that God declares the end in the beginning, telling us that this path of life is a preset path.
Knowing this should give you confidence that when God declares, He fixes it. He fixes your end before you started the journey. In other words, as long as you are walking in the path of God, the circumstances you face in this path, are not a surprise to God. The only thing you need to be in check is that you are in the path set for your life.
This you should always know that the devil knows you are in the path God set for your life, that is why he tries much to frustrate you. He brings unnecessary fights and contrary voices along the way that can make you abandon this path, because it is in this path that all what God destined for your life is. Abandoning it will mean you miss out on what God has set for you.
When it comes to matters to do with your destiny, do not just give up, these are matters that you fight till you win. Let the enemy know that you only have one option, win. This is the only path for your life, you will never take a shortcut to your destiny, that is why you will fight till you win.
One advantage in this path set for your life is that there is spiritual enablement and there is the leading of God. Do not give up easily on the matters of your destiny.
I pray that if you were on the edge of giving up because you have fought and you feel weakened, there will be fresh strength to help you hold on, you will not give up, you will rise again and win. Grace is released to cause you to triumph. In Jesus Name.

You Must Upgrade Yourself!

“And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches." - Proverbs 24:4 (KJV)

A story is told of a mechanic who was excellent at repairing one model of a certain vehicle. That model was people’s favourite then and he used to make millions of money from repairing such. But when the vehicle manufacturers upgraded to a new model and made a complete overhaul of everything, he failed to adjust to the same. In the end, he was taken out of the business and he went broke. That was sad, wasn’t it?

The world is changing every day at the fastest rate. The fact that you are a star today, in your field, does not mean you will be one tomorrow. This world is merciless and does not bow down to mediocrity. Hence, the need to constantly upgrade yourself.

You must always acquire new and relevant knowledge if you desire to remain a master in your field. That is what the verse above is instructing us. Your chambers will be filled with all precious and pleasant riches if you go for new knowledge of the time.

PRAYER

Heavenly Father, thank You! I will not be lazy in going for new knowledge in my dealings. I will think, study hard and continuously do research in my field. Above all, I will yield myself to the direction and instructions of the Holy Ghost so that I may know what to do at the right time. In the glorious name of Jesus. Amen!

Protect Your Identity

"And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread." - Luke 4:3 (KJV)

Your identity is a vital ingredient for success. If you do not fully know who you are in God, it will be difficult for you to do great things in life.
The devil, just like he did with our Master Jesus, is still in the business of attacking your identity. The Children of Israel who saw themselves as grasshoppers failed to enter the promised land. So, do not give in by losing sight of who God says you are in Him through His Word.
Always remember that vessels do not carry things that they are not built for. If you lose your identity, it will be impossible to manifest the glory and excellencies which God implanted in you to the world.

PRAYER
Precious Father, in Jesus mighty name, thank You for the identity that I find in You. Thank You for I am a child of God. I am a joint heir with Christ, I am rich, I am prosperous, I am strong, healed, and great. I will never allow what is happening in my life to change who I am. I will allow who I am to change the circumstances around me.

What do you have?

"And Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for thee? tell me, what hast thou in the house? And she said, Thine handmaid hath not anything in the house, save a pot of oil." - 2 Kings 4:2 (KJV)

When God wants to prosper someone, He starts with the question, “What do you have?” This is the basic principle of prosperity. And it is exactly what the Spirit of the Lord is showing us in the opening verse.
Your assignment is, therefore, to discover and acknowledge what God has already given you and surrender it to Him to work with it. No one is a non-entity. We all have something special given by God.

You may not know how valuable it is or how far it can take you. You may look at it as if it is useless, but God will always start with what you have.

PRAYER:
Father, thank You for everything You have given to me- whether big or small. Open my eyes to realize the potential hidden in what You have given me. I surrender my gifts, talents, academic qualifications, and all I have to You. Work with them. I am ready to prosper in them all. In Jesus mighty name. Amen.
